Accented by a shiny black lid and real leather wrist rest, the $2199 (as of April 11, 2007) Asus U1F puts the "ultra" in ultraportable. The lightest Windows Vista laptop we've seen, it weighs 2.4 pounds, no heavier than a teacup Chihuahua. The thin case offers a surprisingly full set of connections, including built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless communications. You could use the bright screen to find your way out of a cave, and the battery lasts for more than 6 hours on one charge. These are good qualities for an all-day, on-the-go laptop to possess. But can you type on it? (pcworld.com)

Like male supermodel Derek Zoolander, this semi-chromed, all-metal snapper is really, really good-looking, but simple. Available in a range of four chic colours, it has the bare minimum of confusing buttons, while Face Detection autofocus means beautiful people can be snapped without an excess of thought. (t3.co.uk)

The nuvi 670 is an easily-lost tech-head’s dream. For starters, it’s got a crisp 4.3-inch touchscreen and the aforementioned maps. It also has 1.25GB flash memory, which can be used to store MP3 music; fill it up and you can shove in an SD card with yet more tunes on.(T3)

With all your music at your fingertips, you may never want to stop listening. Lucky thing your iPod plays audio for hours and hours, or if you'd rather watch, you can feast your eyes on movies and TV shows for several hours without draining your battery. And you can count on the iPod to help you pack light. It is almost hard to explain exactly how 80GB of storage can fit into an iPood that's the same size as the 60 GB model before it. However it happened, it means you can carry more music and video absolutely anywhere you go. |

At its heart, the LG KE850 PRADA is a tri-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE, there's a large 240x400 pixel touch-sensitive display that can playback widescreen video clips, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD expandable memory, and the KE850 has an FM radio and a two megapixel camera. We measure the display as being 3.2 inches diagonally, a little smaller than the iPhone's 3.5 inches. (mobilegazette.com)

The Samsung BlackJack i607 simply looks and feels fantastic. The high speed data in 3G coverage areas is wicked fast and voice quality is excellent. The keyboard is excellent, though the number keys are a bit eccentric. We love the jog wheel and most everything about this phone. The camera takes better than average photos, Bluetooth stereo sounds great and Cingular Video is addictive. (mobiletechreview.com)

The ThinkPad T61 is a premium product with a durable build, it is geared towards business users or simply those willing to pay a bit more to get something that won't fall apart after 1-year of use. For somebody that travels a lot or relies on their notebook to earn a livelihood, the build and reliability factor is probably more important than having the latest and greatest components inside.
